The Search is on for traditional UK Mining and Engineering skills for jobs Down Under

Are you looking for a job in the mining and engineering industry?
Are you interested in emigrating abroad for work?
Today Lewis Fawsitt, Head of Permanent Recruitment at Acorn Global, talks to us about mining and engineering jobs in Australia.

“The mining sectors in Australia are booming and vulcanisers, belt splicers, heavy diesel mechanics and auto electricians are highly sought after. My team and I are looking for traditional mining and engineering skilled workers.”

“We know that many job-seekers in the UK have the required skills and experience to work in the mining and engineering industry. These skilled workers played a great part in the UK’s economic survival until the 1980’s.  Unfortunately these skills are no longer sought after in our country and most job-seekers do not mention them on their CV's, making it more difficult for us to find the perfect individuals for the positions we currently have available in Australia.”

How can we help you?
“We offer vacancies for belt splicers, heavy diesel mechanics and auto electricians.  We also recruit project managers, chartered engineers, geo-technical specialists, geologists and technical managers for the mining resources, oil and gas recovery sectors. If you have the skills and experience required to work in these sectors, we could help you to find highly lucrative jobs in Australia or in other parts of the world.”

“Our team of consultants are experts in placing job-seekers abroad.  We know there’s a lot to consider when moving to another country, this is why our team endeavours to make things as easy as possible for our workers and their families.  We support and advise them throughout the moving process, ensuring they settle into their new role as well as into their new life.

Why should you work overseas?
“Australia is one of the top rated countries to choose when opting to work or live abroad. With the current boom in mining and engineering, it is a prime venue to consider when looking for work within this industry.”

“If you are looking for new employment opportunities in mining and engineering; a chance to earn a substantial wage and to live in a happy balanced environment, get in touch with us today!”
